Providing Proof of Insurance
If you have an auto loan with the credit union, you are required to purchase and provide proof of full insurance coverage, with a maximum deductible of $1,000 for both comprehensive and collision. You must also ensure that the credit union is listed as the lienholder or loss payee. If you do not provide proof of insurance at the time of receiving your loan or fail to ensure that we receive updates (renewals, change of insurer notifications, etc.) afterward, your loan may be subject to monthly premium assessments that protect the credit union in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle. This coverage may not meet the requirements of the state in which your vehicle is registered and/or titled.

To update or confirm your coverage, you can send a copy of your declaration page directly to our Insurance Department using one of the means below. This helps maintain compliance with loan requirements and keeps your account in good standing.
